Electronics in real time
Made between Hong Kong, Shanghai and Zurich, Night in Hong Kong carries traces of each place without turning them into a single musical geography.
Live, the compositions are treated as material rather than reproduced as recordings. Rhythms are reassembled, sounds layered and transformed, structures opened to improvisation.
The project can also take the form of Dual Frequencies, expanding the solo set into an electronic duo built around live interaction and improvisation.
