From Score to Performance
A musical work does not end with its premiere. It continues through every reading, rehearsal and interpretation.
The score carries the work forward: preserving its musical ideas while leaving them open to other musicians, contexts and possibilities for performance.
La casa de nadie Editions publishes scores and performance materials across contemporary composition, jazz and experimental music. The catalogue includes original compositions, arrangements and works involving electronics, video and other media.
Each edition responds to the work itself. A lead sheet, a chamber work and a score combining instruments with electronics make different demands on the page. Notation, layout and graphic design are developed in relation to how the music will be read, rehearsed and performed.
Once published, the score leaves the composer’s desk. It enters rehearsals, music stands, performances and recordings — to be read, marked, interpreted and played again.
Scores are rarely still. They travel from screen to instrument, from rehearsal to recording, collecting ideas, annotations, and memories along the way.

Essential Scores
Essential Scores presents selected compositions and arrangements as lead sheets, distilling them to melody, harmony and form.
Some originate in works conceived for larger ensembles or specific instrumental settings. In this format, the musical structure remains while instrumentation, voicing and interpretation are left open to the musicians.
Each limited edition includes the score and access to an accompanying recording, with attention to typography, materials and visual identity.
