The José Pino Quartet brings together original compositions, jazz repertoire and music from Latin America in a four-piece formation built around improvisation.

The quartet
Led by José Pino on guitar, the quartet brings together guitar, saxophone, bass and drums.
The repertoire places Pino’s original compositions alongside jazz and music from Ecuador, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico and Colombia. Improvisation runs throughout, allowing written material and repertoire to take different forms in performance.
